How to Use the Online Scoreboard

  1. Set the two team names and colors.
  2. Choose a count-up or count-down timer if the game needs one.
  3. Add or subtract points as the score changes.
  4. Update the round or stage label when needed.
  5. Use Undo or Redo for corrections, or fullscreen for the display.

Online Scoreboard Features

Use quick +1 and −1 buttons or enter a custom score adjustment for either team. The same board includes editable team details, a count-up or count-down timer, round or stage controls, Undo, Redo, Reset, and a read-only fullscreen view.

Customize Teams, Score and Game Format

Rename the Home and Away teams, choose their colors, apply a whole-number score adjustment, and set the stage label and number to match a round, period, game, or other format. You can also choose whether the timer counts up or down.

Count-Up or Count-Down Timer

Add a timer only when your game needs one. Choose count up or count down, set the starting duration for a countdown, and use the clear Start, Pause, and Reset clock controls during play.

Where This Scoreboard Works Well

This flexible two-team scoreboard works well for casual games, practices, PE or school games, local competitions, and board or party games that need a score, an optional timer, and a simple round or stage.

Fullscreen Display

Fullscreen shows only the read-only scoreboard on this device when the browser supports it. Connect or project the device to a TV, monitor, or projector when you want a larger display.

Undo, Local Saving and Recovery

Use Undo and Redo to correct previous scoreboard changes. The current scoreboard is saved in this browser when browser storage is available, so a reload can restore it. Clearing site data can remove the saved scoreboard.

What This Scoreboard Does Not Do

This is a two-team scoreboard, not a multi-player leaderboard. The current Local Mode does not provide a public viewer link, remote controller, cross-device synchronization, cloud backup, or OBS overlay.

Online Scoreboard FAQ

Is the custom scoreboard free?

Yes. The current browser-local product needs no account, installation, or payment.

Can the timer count up and count down?

Yes. Choose the Clock direction before starting, then use the explicit start, pause, and reset controls.

Where is the scoreboard saved?

It is saved only in this browser when browser storage is available. Clearing site data or moving to another browser or device does not recover or synchronize it.

What can I customize?

You can change both team names and colors, adjust either score, choose the timer direction, and edit the round or stage label and number.
