Privacy Policy

Current product scope

ScoreMetrik currently provides browser-local scoreboard tools and informational scoring guides. No account is required. The current service does not provide cloud saving, cross-device sync, or a public live-session product.

Scoring guides are informational pages and do not create saved game data by themselves.

Information stored in your browser

When browser storage is available, ScoreMetrik can store the following scoreboard information in this browser:

• Team or player labels, colors, and selected scoring formats.
• Scores, clocks where applicable, and the current period, set, inning, or game.
• Sport-specific scoreboard values such as timeouts, fouls, cards, possession, or service.
• Recent changes needed for Undo and Redo.

Why local data is used

• Restore the current scoreboard after a reload.
• Support Undo and Redo.
• Keep the score and match settings available in this browser.
• Allow damaged local data to be removed when recovery is offered.

What is not currently collected by the application

No account profile is required. The current application does not request email, phone, address, payment, health, biometric, or player-profile information.

Users can type custom text such as team names and rules labels. Do not enter unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

Local-only browser and device isolation

Local data stays in the browser and site origin used to create it. Different browsers and devices do not automatically share that data. ScoreMetrik's current scoreboard tools do not upload saved game data to a ScoreMetrik cloud account or database.

Cookies, analytics, advertising, and third parties

The current application code does not set application cookies. It does not include application-level analytics, advertising, consent-management, social pixels, error-reporting SDKs, third-party iframes, or externally loaded fonts or scripts.

This policy will be updated if those data practices change.

Website delivery data

Visiting ScoreMetrik requires normal network requests for pages and assets. Services that deliver or protect those requests may process basic technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser details for delivery and security. This policy does not claim a specific provider or a fixed retention period that has not been verified.

Retention and deletion

Local scoreboard data remains until one of these events:

• The user confirms New Game for that product.
• The user explicitly deletes corrupted saved data where offered.
• Browser or site data is cleared.
• The browser or device removes storage.

Reset is undoable and does not delete the local entry. Cleared local data cannot be recovered by ScoreMetrik, another browser, or another device. There is no current cloud backup or Saved Games library.

Data loss and security limits

Browser storage depends on the browser profile and device. Private or incognito mode, storage settings, browser cleanup, device loss, quota, corruption, or software changes may remove or prevent access. Do not rely on ScoreMetrik as the sole official match record. No external security assessment is claimed.

Children and general audience

ScoreMetrik is a general-audience sports utility. It does not ask users to create child profiles or provide age information. Users should not enter children's or other individuals' unnecessary personal information into team names or custom text.

If you email support, the sender address, message, and any information you choose to include are received so the inquiry can be reviewed and answered. Do not include sensitive information unless it is necessary for your question.

Privacy rights and legal scope

This policy does not claim certification or compliance under a particular privacy regime. Applicable law may provide privacy rights independently of this policy. Questions about information sent to the support address can be directed to that same address.
