Terms of Use

Service scope

ScoreMetrik provides user-controlled browser-local scoreboard tools and informational scoring guides. No account is required, and the service does not currently provide paid subscriptions, cloud storage, cross-device sync, an API, or a user-facing Live Session.

Scoring guides explain scoring systems for general information. They do not replace official competition rules or rulings from the responsible league, organizer, referee, or scorer.

User-controlled scoring

Users choose or update team names, scores, clocks, periods, sets, innings, or other game progress, selected scoring formats, sport-specific scoreboard settings, and allowed custom values. Users are responsible for accuracy and appropriateness. ScoreMetrik does not verify a score, winner, match state, or rule decision.

Do not enter unnecessary personal, confidential, unlawful, infringing, or sensitive information into team names or custom text.

Not an official authority

• ScoreMetrik is not a professional live-score feed.
• It is not an official scorer, scorekeeper, referee, or tournament desk.
• It is not a league or federation authority.
• It does not replace sanctioned-match rules or an official record.

Users remain responsible for rules, eligibility, safety, and official scoring. Do not rely on ScoreMetrik as the sole source for official, safety-critical, regulated, financial, medical, emergency, or legal decisions.

Local Mode and saved data

• Saved game data is stored in the current browser when browser storage is available.
• Browsers, devices, and origins do not automatically share it.
• There is no cloud backup or Saved Games library.
• Confirmed New Game deletes the relevant local game.
• Reset is undoable and is not deletion.
• Clearing site data can remove local data.

Private or incognito mode, browser settings, storage quota, cleanup, corruption, software changes, or device loss may remove or prevent access. Lost or cleared local data cannot be recovered by ScoreMetrik.

Availability and product changes

The service may change, be corrected, pause, or become unavailable. Fullscreen and browser storage depend on the browser. Local Mode does not guarantee offline first-load, reload, or navigation. No uptime, service-level, support-response, or perpetual compatibility promise is made. Use an independent official record when a score or game result is important.

Acceptable use

Do not use the current product for unlawful activity, deliberate interference or disruption, malicious code, unauthorized access to non-public systems, false claims of official affiliation, impersonation, harassment, threats, infringement, or exposure of sensitive data in custom text. Do not falsify ScoreMetrik branding or source when presenting the product as ScoreMetrik.

Normal scorekeeping, accessibility tools, ordinary personal inspection with browser developer tools, and security testing conducted with permission are not prohibited. Honest reviews and criticism are allowed.

Intellectual property and trademarks

ScoreMetrik branding and original interface content must not be falsely presented as the user's own service or as officially endorsed. User-entered team names and custom text remain the user's responsibility. Third-party marks belong to their owners. Style preset names are descriptive and do not imply authorization, certification, sponsorship, or endorsement.

No paid service or current commercial terms

No paid subscription, checkout, billing, refund, renewal, trial, team-seat, enterprise, or API plan currently exists. These Terms do not create paid-service rights or promises for features that ScoreMetrik does not currently provide.

Applicable rights

Certain jurisdiction-specific rights and obligations may apply independently of these Terms. Nothing here is intended to remove a right or responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be removed.

Access and account status

There is no user account to suspend or terminate. Access may be unavailable because the service changes, a browser is unsupported, or local data is cleared. ScoreMetrik does not hold a cloud copy of browser-local game data to confiscate or restore.
