Built for a Full Soccer Match

Start with the familiar score and Match Clock, then keep the current half, team cards, optional Extra Time, and penalty shootout state together on one board. Every match change stays under the scorekeeper's control, so the scoreboard is quick to start without flattening a soccer match into two counters and a timer.

Use It for Local Soccer Matches

Keep score for youth soccer, recreational games, school or club matches, practices, and scrimmages. It works well for a scorekeeper, coach, or organizer running one match on a phone, tablet, or computer.

Fullscreen for a Match Display

Put the read-only Soccer Display into fullscreen on the current device, then connect or project that device to a TV, monitor, or projector. Setup and scoring controls remain outside the display.

Match Clock and Rules

Choose Custom rules or one of five profiles: IFAB-style, NCAA regular-season-style, NCAA postseason-style, NFHS-style, or Youth-style. A profile can use a continuous count-up Match Clock or a count-down stop clock. You start, pause, and reset the Clock; ScoreMetrik does not add stoppage time or advance the match stage on its own. Profiles describe scoreboard behavior and do not imply governing-body affiliation or endorsement.

Extra Time

Extra Time controls appear only when the match rules enable two additional periods. The scorekeeper starts each period explicitly; a tied score never starts Extra Time or determines a winner automatically.

Penalty Shootouts

When enabled, start the shootout and choose the first kicking side. ScoreMetrik then shows which side kicks next as you record aggregate goals and misses. Shootout totals stay separate from match goals, and you can correct or reset them without automatic winner selection.

Undo, Local Saving, and Recovery

Undo and Redo restore goal, card, match clock, match phase, shootout, and team changes. The current match and its recent changes are saved in this browser when browser storage is available, so a reload can restore the board. Clearing site data can remove that local match. Reset is undoable; New Match removes the saved match and returns to setup.

What This Scoreboard Does Not Do

This is a user-controlled match scoreboard, not a professional live-score feed or an official scorer. It does not track player-level statistics or automatically add stoppage time, start Extra Time, choose a winner, or finish the match. Remote control, public viewer links, OBS overlays, cloud backup, and cross-device synchronization are not included.

Soccer scoreboard FAQ

Is the soccer scoreboard free?

Yes. The current Soccer product requires no account and can save the match in this browser when browser storage is available.

Does it track yellow and red cards?

Yes. It records aggregate yellow and red card totals for each team. It does not identify individual players or perform automatic second-yellow conversion.

Does the Match Clock count up or down?

The selected soccer format can use continuous referee-time count up or an official stop-clock count down per period. You control when the Match Clock starts, pauses, or resets.

Does it support Extra Time and penalty shootouts?

It supports explicit Extra Time and aggregate penalty shootout controls when the selected match rules enable them. A tied score never starts either one automatically.

Can I show it on a TV or projector?

Yes. Put the read-only Soccer Display into Fullscreen on the current device, then connect or project that device to a larger screen.
