How to Use the Online Baseball Scoreboard
- Choose a baseball format and set the Home and Away teams.
- Create the game and record runs, hits and errors.
- Update balls, strikes and outs as the plate appearance changes.
- Use New batter or Next half-inning when the game moves on.
- Use Undo or Redo for corrections, or Fullscreen for the display.
Baseball Scoreboard Features
Keep Home and Away R/H/E totals, the current inning, Top or Bottom, the batting side, and the balls, strikes and outs count together on one board. Extra innings appear when the selected format allows them, while Undo, Redo and Fullscreen support corrections and display use.
Runs, Hits and Errors (R/H/E)
R means runs, H means hits, and E means errors. These team totals stay beside the current inning and count, making the baseball scoreboard easy to read at a glance.
Balls, Strikes and Outs
Update balls, strikes and outs manually within the limits of the selected format. Use New batter to begin the next plate appearance, or Next half-inning after the third out. ScoreMetrik keeps these transitions under the baseball scorekeeper's control.
Innings and Batting Side
The board shows the current inning, whether it is the Top or Bottom half, and which side is batting. Next half-inning moves the game from Top to Bottom or into the next inning, including extra innings when they are enabled for the selected format.
Use It for Local Baseball Games
Use this lightweight baseball scorekeeper for youth and Little League-style local games, rec leagues, school games, practices, scrimmages, backyard games, or a single game in a local tournament. ScoreMetrik is not affiliated with Little League or another league or governing body.
Fullscreen Display
Open the read-only Baseball Display in Fullscreen on the current device. Connect or project that device to a TV, monitor, or projector when you need a larger scoreboard without the scoring controls.
Baseball Formats and Rules
Setup offers six choices: Custom, MLB regular-season-style, MLB postseason-style, NCAA-style, NFHS-style, and Youth-style. These are configuration profiles, not certification, affiliation, or endorsement. Choose the format that fits the game you are scoring.
Undo, Local Saving and Recovery
Use Undo and Redo to correct scoreboard actions. When browser storage is available, the current game is saved in this browser and can be restored after a reload. Reset starts the current game over, while New Game removes the saved game and returns to setup. Clearing browser site data can also remove the saved game.
Scoreboard vs Full Baseball Scorebook
ScoreMetrik is a scoreboard and lightweight scorekeeper for team R/H/E totals, innings, the count and outs. It is not a full baseball scorebook and does not record a lineup, every plate appearance, player or pitcher statistics, pitch counts, base runners, or play-by-play.
What This Scoreboard Does Not Do
The current version does not track live base runners or show a base diamond, lineups, batter or pitcher identities, pitch counts, player statistics, or play-by-play. It does not automatically process a walk, strikeout, third out, inning change, runner placement, walk-off, winner, or game ending. It also does not provide cloud sync, a remote controller, a public viewer link, or an OBS overlay.
