How to Use the Online Cricket Scoreboard
- Choose Custom, ICC T20I-style, or ICC ODI-style scoring and enter both teams.
- Select the team batting first and create the match.
- Record each delivery as Dot, runs, Wicket, Wide, No-ball, Bye, or Leg-bye as appropriate.
- Complete the first innings, then start the chase with the standard or manually revised target.
- Use aggregate correction, Undo, Redo, Reset, or Fullscreen when needed.

Runs, Wickets and Overs
The main score uses familiar Cricket notation: 150/4 means 150 runs for 4 wickets. 12.3 overs means 12 complete overs plus 3 legal balls, not decimal 12.3 overs. The scoreboard also shows which side is batting and its current run rate.
Record Deliveries and Extras
Record Dot balls, 1, 2, 3, boundaries, sixes, and scorer-accepted Wickets. Wides and No-balls add runs without increasing the legal-ball count. Byes and Leg-byes are recorded separately from bat runs, and each confirmed Penalty award adds exactly five runs to the team chosen by the scorer. ScoreMetrik records the outcome you enter; it does not decide whether a delivery or dismissal is legal.
First Innings, Chase Target and Run Rates
After the scorer completes the first innings, the second side can begin its chase. The standard target is the accepted first innings total plus one and follows later score corrections. You can instead enter a manually revised target that was determined outside ScoreMetrik. During the chase, the board can show the target, runs needed, balls remaining, current run rate, and required run rate.
T20, ODI and Custom Limited-Overs Formats
Every available format uses one innings per side, six legal balls per over, and scorer-confirmed innings and result changes.

Use It for Local Cricket Matches
Use this scoreboard for club Cricket, school games, practices, social matches, backyard Cricket, limited-overs friendlies, or other local matches that use one innings per side. It is a scorekeeper-controlled board for a match you are running, not a professional live-score feed or a league-management system.
Fullscreen Display
Open the read-only Cricket scoreboard in Fullscreen on the current device, then connect or project that device to a TV, monitor, or projector. Team setup, scoring controls, confirmations, Undo, Redo, and New Game remain outside the display.
Undo, Local Saving and Recovery
Use aggregate correction to replace team totals, wickets, legal balls, and extras without recreating every delivery. Undo and Redo restore earlier scoreboard changes. When browser storage is available, the current match is saved only in this browser and can return after a reload. Clearing browser site data can remove the saved match.
Scoreboard vs Full Cricket Scorecard
ScoreMetrik keeps team runs, wickets, overs, extras, the chase target, and run rates. A full Cricket scorecard also records batter runs, balls faced, batting strike rates, bowler figures, partnerships, fall of wickets, individual dismissals, and player details. Those player-level records are outside this scoreboard.
What This Scoreboard Does Not Do
The current Cricket product is for one-innings-per-side, limited-overs matches. It does not support Test or first-class multi-innings Cricket, four innings, declarations, follow-ons, DLS or rain-par calculations, Super Overs, player statistics, a full scorecard, partnerships, fall-of-wicket history, individual dismissals, or a complete ball-by-ball player record. It does not make automatic official decisions, ingest professional live scores, or provide cloud sync, a remote controller, a public viewer link, or OBS output.
Cricket Scoreboard FAQ
Is the Cricket scoreboard free?
Yes. The current browser-local Cricket scoreboard requires no account or signup.
Can I score T20 or ODI matches?
Yes. Choose ICC T20I-style for 20 overs, ICC ODI-style for 50 overs, or Custom for another limited-overs allocation.
How are Cricket overs shown?
Overs use six-ball notation. For example, 12.3 means 12 complete overs and 3 legal balls, not a decimal value.
Do Wides and No-balls count as legal balls?
No. A recorded Wide or No-ball adds its runs without increasing the legal-ball count.
Does it calculate the chase target?
The standard target is the accepted first-innings total plus one. A manually revised target must be determined elsewhere; ScoreMetrik does not calculate DLS.
Does it track player statistics?
No. It is a team scoreboard, not a player scorecard with batter and bowler figures.
Can I use it for Test Cricket?
No. The current product supports one innings per side in limited-overs matches, not Test or first-class multi-innings Cricket.
Does it save my match?
When browser storage is available, the current match is saved in this browser and can be restored after a reload. Clearing site data can remove it.
Can I show the Cricket scoreboard fullscreen?
Yes. Fullscreen shows the read-only scoreboard on the current device; it does not create a remote or public live display.
